Established in 2016, Smart Gas Training & Assessment Centre is based in the market town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire. We are the perfect place for those looking for plumbing & heating apprenticeships as well as those wanting to renew their existing qualifications.
Since it’s inception, Smart Gas has grown to become a leading and respected training provider that offers best in class training for apprentices and private candidates.

What makes us different?
We believe in a highly personalised approach to teaching and learning; this enables our students to complete their qualifications within a positive and enjoyable learning environment. No two learners are the same, and whether you’re an apprentice or private candidate, your tuition should be tailored towards what works for you.
We don’t believe large, impersonal classes are the best way for you to learn – we specialise in smaller learning environments, with 1 to 1 learning being our key priority.
Whether you are from Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield or Stoke-on-Trent, Smart Gas is ideally situated with strong transport links to these areas.
